Willowmere Ride

Leader will ride the 25 or 33 mile Willowmere route based on weather; dress warm.. current forecast calls for cloudy 34-39 degrees during the ride, and calm winds...stay off the trainer and get real base miles.....we will only go fast enough to stay warm....:-)

Ride Description - Ride starting from Willowmere Park in NW Stafford. This ride takes you through much of the FCC Cannonball Century area. The courses are marked (different marks from Cannonball) with Dan Henry marks (painted white circle with directional line). There are stores along the routes. Distance options are 25, 33 and 45 miles. Restrooms are available at start/end. Terrain is slightly to moderately rolling. Click here for Cue Sheets

Directions - Travel US 17 North from I-95 4.3 miles. Turn right on Rt 616 Popular Rd. Travel 6.8 miles and turn right on Mountain View Rd (across from old country store). Go 0.6 miles and turn right onto Willowmere Pond Rd. Go 0.1 miles and turn right into park. Proceed straight into large parking lot.
