NO-DROP DOWNTOWN RIDE
Ride Description: Join us for a relaxed, slow-moving no-drop ride starting from Old Mill Park in Downtown Fredericksburg. The weather is going to be fine for a December day with a predicted high of 61 degrees. We will start at 10:00am and travel about 22 miles on mostly flat roads at the pace of the slowest rider.
Please note: The first part of the ride will be conducted on downtown streets where the speed limit is 25mph (and cars are very respectful of cyclists); in addition, we will have to travel on Route 3 for a very short distance in order to make it over to some safe, suburban neighborhoods. Please be sure you are comfortable with these necessary features of a downtown ride start.
