Spotlight on Olde Towne Bikes, 2022
Description: Tonight we welcome the owners and bike mechanics from Olde Towne Bicycles to our regular Tuesday night club ride. Olde Towne has been serving Fredericksburg area cyclists for almost three decades! They have two locations (the other is in Woodbridge) and a full line up of bikes available for all riders. More importantly, they are one of the club's strongest supporters and a major sponsor of the 2022 Cannonball Century. Let's show them our appreciation by coming out and riding with them as our honored guests.
Please park at the back of the church in the parking area on the left. There are no restroom facilities available, so plan accordingly. The average pace for this ride is between 15 mph to 19 mph depending on the riders that show up. The route is well marked at the turn points. The majority of the ride is on back roads that don't have a lot of vehicle traffic and are safe.
Headlights are strongly encouraged as the sun will be setting towards the end of the ride.
Please do not change clothes outside of your car because they have youth events that occur on some ride evenings.
