Downtown ramble

Ride Description:  Join us this Friday for a relaxed, no-drop ride through downtown Fredericksburg and some of the safe neighborhoods in the area.  We will start at Old Mill Park and use a combination of both roads and bike paths.  Bathrooms are on site.  Distance will be 20-25 miles.   

Please note:  Some parts of this ride may be conducted on downtown streets where the speed limit is 25mph (and cars are generally respectful of cyclists). We may travel on Route 3 for a very short distance to Ferry Farm.  Please be sure you are comfortable with these necessary features of a downtown ride start.  

Start location: Old Mill Park, 2201 Caroline St, Fredericksburg, VA  

Parking:  Park in the much larger parking lot in the back near the bathrooms.

Start time:  9:00am 

Group pace:  C/D, about 14 mph or below.  This is a no-drop ride, but please be sure you are able to complete a 20-ish mile ride in the summer heat.
