Downtown to alpacas ramble

Ride Description:  Join us this Friday for a relaxed, no-drop ride from downtown Fredericksburg out to the Alpacas on Salvington Rd in the Belle Plains area.  The weather will be FANTASTIC with temperatures throughout the entire ride only in the 70's so come on out and join us.

Start time:  9:00am

Start location: Old Mill Park, 2201 Caroline St, Fredericksburg, VA  

Please note:  Some parts of this ride will be conducted on downtown streets where the speed limit is 25mph (and cars are generally respectful of cyclists). We will travel on Route 3 for less than a tenth of a mile and return on the bike lane along Cool Springs Rd.   

Parking:  Park in the much larger parking lot in the back near the bathrooms.  The City of Fredericksburg is NOT ticketing non-Stafford and non-city residents who park there on the week days, so just ignore those signs!

Group pace:  C/D, about 12-14 mph.  This is a no-drop ride, but please be sure you are able to complete a 25-mile ride in the summer heat.
